Today, the Argon Federation is wealthy and encompasses a large number of very different types of planets. Some are deserts while others are icy wastes. The planet Argon Prime is the heart of the Federation and is the seat of the government and all other administration. It is also one of the most exciting planets in the X Universe. Not only is it the home of culture, science and learning, one can also find the finest entertainment. In Addition to the finest Geodesic Holiday homes it also offers thousands of bars, restaurants, theaters, casinos, holosuites, cinemas, holiday villas, everything, in fact, that makes it the finest rest and recreation center in any known universe.

The Argon Federation is governed by an elected parliament. Each city, colony and space station represented by senators elected by their electorate. The leader of the Argon Parliament is called The President. Currently, a male Argon called Frann Herron holds this position.

Ship Information[edit]

The Argon build the most balanced ships in the X-Universe. One can see the boron influence that mirrors their joint development. When you buy an Argon ship you get a good all-around, versatile vessel. In addition, since the Argon do not share the peaceful nature of the Boron, you may be able to install the Mass Driver Gatling gun. This weapon was developed according to specifications found in some old documents. The Split were so impressed by this weapon that they paid enormous licensing fees so that they could manufacture it as well.

With the development of the Nova, an M3 class fighter and successor of the aging Elite, the Argon were the first race to install a rear turret in a heavy fighter. Technologically advanced shipyards enable the Argon to build better ships by increasing shield capacity and improving engine performance. Whereas, in the past, you may have laughed about the old Elite, it is a different story today. Although the Nova is still one of the slowest heavy fighters, her fire power will quickly silence any critics. Similar upgrades were installed in the Buster, an M4 fighter, and the newly introduced Argon Centaur Corvette, while the Elite has since been redesigned and brought back into service.

The Boron are a friendly species who live primarily under the sea. Boron ships must be able to travel under the seas and also into space where awaiting factories supply them with resources. The Boron normally consider anyone to be a friend, only fighting if they really have too.

The correctly called Paranid, are simply paranoid of everyone. In order even to speak to a Paranid pilots have to show good will and prove they can be trusted. Paranid's are known for their advance technology however the same cant be said about their hospitality. They see most other races to be inferior, especially humans. Paranid ships are fast, powerful and deadly.

The Pirates are people who don't want to conform to the standard way of life. It is believed that Pirate ships are created by the Teladi has they can have a very similar design. Pirate ships are always armed and will attack anyone they don't like. Pirates will often attack other ships just for cargo. The Pirates would rather lose a bit of cargo space so they can carry extra weapons.

The split are a warrior race who would rather fight than to die a coward death. This makes the Split people very wearily of anyone new in their space. To be allowed to dock you will need to show the Split some good will by shooting down some enemy ships. Split ships are often fast and powerful in order to attack their pray, however Split ships often have lower amounts of shielding.

he Teladi are relatively friendly to other races. The Teladi are very well known for doing anything which makes them profit. Most Teladi live to make profit. Their snake like voices can put many pilots on edge which is a good thing as they often cant be trusted. Teladi ships normally have a bigger cargo bay so they can make more profit. Teladi will often guard their cargo and ships by their lives.

The Xenon are a product of man's creation which turned on them. Xenon were used to convert a planet into a livable place for humans to live on. However after many years, the Xenon developed a problem in their programming and started to turn on their human masters. One captain managed draw them away from Earth in his ship named 'AP-Sorja 44' aka AP Gunner. The captain managed to lure the Xenon into a unknown JumpGate and blew it up just after they arrived. This was the only JumpGate back to Earth, trapping both himself and the Xenon in the X part of the galaxy. The captain of the AP Gunner had to crashed land and was never found. It is believed that the Argon people are descends of that of the Earth people. Much of this story has been forgotten over the years.

After the last Xenon war the Argonians nearly lost their homeland, however since then the Argonians have been fighting back winning countless battles against the Xenon. The biggest blow to the Xenon was the lost of the Xenon mothership in Brennan's Triumph. Xenon ships are still deadly to this day, and are constantly researching ways to upgrade ships and weapons. The Xenon are planning to one day attack Argon again.
